Lots of great information

I bought this book for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. We get an updated copy every few years so that he has a reference guide for new and old guns. The only disapointment was that the index was wrong , but we were able to go online and download a new one. If it wasn't for that it would be a five star book.

The Wish Book that Never Gets Old

As usual, the staff at Gun Digest has turned out yet another issue of what is arguably the best gun annual published over at least the last 50 years. Filled with dozens of articles that run the gamut from shotguns to handguns, rimfires, collectible arms to auto rifles, ammo and gear, this is just the appetizer for the *real* sexy stuff - the gun catalog at the end. Of course we can't forget the "centerfolds" that grace the issue, the lush, full-color photo spreads of some of the most luxuriously-appointed, exquisitely-engraved and richly-inlaid firearms in the world. For some of us, there is almost as great an attraction, tucked in between the articles and the catalog - namely the ballistics tables. My only fault to find with this fine publication is that I wish the catalog was a bit more complete. There are a number of guns that are mentioned in articles that aren't to be found in the catalog, but I chalked this up to their being newer arms and not yet in the companies' printed catalogs. All in all, well worth the asking price for this perennial favorite.

This was a great book filled with information that can assist you with your future weapon purchases. Very informative stories at the beginning as well.
