This is an excellent resource book for modelers of German armoured vehicles. This book gives you a wealth of coloured drawings, unit markings, and a brief history of each unit. If you are a modeler and want something different to look at, this is for you. If you want more detailed information, look else where.

wonder if that camo you are putting on your tank fits the theater? Do they match the unit markings? Is your camo or marking sort of...made up? Well get a grip on what was where and what they looked like. Decent color plates (wish they were bigger) give you an understanding of what units went where and what they looked like. Not as definitive as I would like, but used in conjunction with your existing library (or the one you gather here) at this price both this book and the others like it (including the warplane guides) are worth the $. Definitely not a disappointment

A great resource for unit markings and paint schemes, but for those more interested in technical specifications and developmental history, far better volumes are available.

I expected more pictures of the top, rear and front views of the vehicles along with what types of weapons they carried.
